NEXT MEETING 5/8/07 Alice's house early for food if possible.

Treasure: we're a little over target. LMB scholarships 850 requested Vs 25 available, Mary Grace to offer teacher dana. Update, 2000 more came in. Bill to contact Mark Spanso concerning 1099's for teachers incomes. Heidi will be receiving financial report.A binder will be provided for minutes and treasures statements. Dan will get binder. Margaret will run off minutes.

Design Committee: owners wants us to remove table and shoe situation. Data wants design approval final by owners. We need their written approval before financial appropriation for shelves/bench.  We are no longer heating the women's room. 

Lease rewrite: Triple net, the common area funding, won't cover our share of the parking lot. It is now 60.00, owners want 200. Surfacing cost is to be amoratized and charge to all tenants. We did sign a 5 yr. lease and triple net equaled our share of the common space. Owners asking for arrears. Judy Cohen was our attorney in the lease. We need time to consider and consult with our attorney to suggested changes in the lease.Triple net is an estimate, it should be based on actual costs. There are also some limits in the lease for the triple net, 3-6% cap.

Facilities Manager: Ann R has institutional memory(?) Does not want to be in charge but will not disappear. Ronna Pierce is interested in position and Carol is "fluid". Ronna has back ground appropriate for the position. Are we going to do job search? There still is no updated job description. Ann Z, Bill and Mary Grace to ask Carol if she wants the job, Ronna could be a volunteer.Per the owners the tenants are not to have a key to the electrical room, we must call PG&E. Their # to be posted. The owners are to replace the janitorial service since no service has occurred for 1 week. Ann is working on the garbage.

Programs: retreat enrollment is low: 1/3-1/2 signed up. 1/2 want scholarships. 

Vesak 5/31/07 5:30-9:30, pot luck, and community meeting included.

mileage: for teachers requested to come from far away we will pay 0.44/ mile.
