In the fall of 2008, a group a young artists met outside to paint about the same question that the Buddha meditated on 2,500 years ago: What is happiness?
This display of colorful images of nature, peace, and go-carts begins to explore answers to this eternal question.
These artists are part of the Vipassana Santa Cruz Family Program. This show was sponsored by a generous grant by the VSC Board.
The JungleThis is a painting about two explorers - you can't really see them because they are hidden in the river. Their house is on the green hill with a path to it. There is a dock in the river, and a hill with a cave. There are birds singing in the trees in the jungle.
